Relevant Experience

Combining a technical background and commercial focus, Sharon is a high performing strategy, innovation and marketing leader with deep international experience who thrives on helping businesses navigate and drive the change and vision needed to support the comprehensive adoption of blockchain and frontier technologies.

Recently, as Head of Marketing at The Royal Mint, Sharon lead the team in strategic insights, product management and product marketing. With a focus on growing the business Sharon was responsible for launching The Royal Mint’s blockchain venture- Royal Mint Gold (RMG); a tradable, digital, direct ownership of gold.

Sharon is a Founder of the British Blockchain & Frontier Technologies Association and sits on their Non-Exec board as Director of Marketing.

Sharon has more than 20 years of international experience at top brands, including Canon, Microsoft, Xerox, DuPont and Nikon where she delivered innovative programs requiring complex strategy focused on growth and revenue. From Silicon Valley to Silicon Alley and to London Sharon has both start-up and large corporate marketing experience. She holds Bachelors and Master’s degrees in science and an MBA from Imperial College London.

Mostly, she surrounds herself with really smart people and helps turn good ideas into great results by doing all she can to inspire teams, delight the customers and execute on highly effective marketing strategies.

Life Beyond Work

In her spare time Sharon likes nothing more than being in the great outdoors – from snowboarding to hiking, kite-surfing and mountain biking, she rarely sits still – passions acquired while living in California for over a decade where she also developed a pallet for a good red wine. Her goal for retirement is to own and run a vineyard in the California wine country.
