Our objective

Our objective is to alleviate poverty and financial disadvantage. To ensure that no one can be discriminated against or excluded from the benefits of our society, we will seek to remove the barriers to economic and social equity.
We aim to provide new, and to support existing, initiatives which help people and families who have fallen out of the economic infrastructure of their community. People in this position will often, but not necessarily, be homeless. Homelessness will therefore be one of the key factors in determining support from the Foundation. Many of the people we help bank accounts, and living hand to mouth on a daily basis makes them vulnerable to loan sharks,
payday loans, pre-paid meters (if they have accommodation), and crime. All of which is a downward spiral to personal disaster.

A core principle of the Foundation is that we will target initiatives and programmes that willhelp to bring people out of poverty permanently. Applications for support will be assessed using the following criteria:

Principle of the Foundation

A core principle of the Foundation is that we will target initiatives and programmes that will help to bring people out of poverty permanently. Applications for support will be assessed using the following criteria:

As well as supporting initiatives which apply to the Foundation, “in-house” projects will also be undertaken. The first of these aims to provide homes and jobs for ex-servicemen & women who have become homeless.
